Russian
Tiny Russian spot in the back of a tourist trap, how good could it be? The answer would be really good! My daughter had to try it on our vacation because she is a russophile (probably not a real word), and while I was skeptical at first, I was very happy with the outcome. They obviously don't make everything on site, and some items are probably frozen, but the result is still very good. The chicken pelmeni was really good (compared to frozen and homemade without a recipe); we wanted beef, but they were out. Get all the side dishes and experiment. The beet/horseradish mixture was very good. But one of the best things was the bread. We made the mistake of splitting one between us- I could have eaten 3 by myself. They were so good! Were the girls Russian? Who cares! They were friendly, attentive and provided a really yummy lunch! The next time I'm in Seattle, I know it will be on my must-eat list.
