Dreadful doesn't even begin to describe it. Service was okay but the food was horrid. Pot pie for myself, and salmon for my wife. With the salmon it takes a lot of talent to make hollandaise tasteless, but they managed. And it's yet another "Irish" pub that no one has ever been to Ireland. As someone born on the island I can tell you half the decor wouldn't be in a proper Irish bar. Maps if the island showing the county as Londonderry rather than Derry, showing it's place in the British Isles and celebration pictures of a new English lord to run Ireland in the 1800s. Seriously, people who open Irish pubs need to actually do some research. And having a single malt scotch menu isn't Irish. |
